19/12/11 "TOOLS" FOR YOUR "TOOLBOX"

So we are in the throws of the festive season and feeling full of Christmas cheer and merriment (hopefully!). To look after ourselves and our precious bodies over this season I will be offering "tools" for your "toolbox"  that you can dip in and out of to stay healthy, happy and full of Goodwill!

Number 1..... Water!!
  • Water is the best thing for any sort of overindulgence.
  • It will help digest stodgy and "challenging" foods such as mince pies, sausage rolls, crisps and  party food keeping your bowels regular and healthy.
  • It will help to turn off "dehydration alert" brought on by stress and stimulating foods and drinks such as coffee, acohol and chocolate.
  • Most of all it will help your amazing liver to process toxins more efficiently so remember to drink more water if you have gone a little overboard on the mulled wine and Christmas pud!
  • Drink aound 2 litres a day to keep hydrated and try to keep it away from food so that you do not dilute the digestive enzymes...They are going to need all the help they can get!
  • If in doubt always remember.... The Solution to Pollution is Dillution!!
